Adani ₹8,700 crore investment in Bihar. 10,000 new jobs will be created in Bihar

Pranav Adani, the director of Adani Enterprises, disclosed that the Adani intends to invest ₹8,700 crores in a number of Bihar sectors. About 10,000 jobs, both direct and indirect, are anticipated to be created by this project.

Throughout the entire Bihar Business Connect 2023 session, Mr.Gautam addressed business leaders and urged them to keep their promise to bring investments and create jobs in the state to the Nitish Kumar administration.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Gautam said that Bihar is becoming a sought-after location for investments. Significant changes are evident, he said, particularly in the areas of women’s empowerment, law and order, literacy, and social improvements.

According to Mr. Gautam adani’ supports Chief Minister Kumar’s plans for Bihar’s development. According to him, the group has already invested ₹850 crores in Bihar’s gas distribution and logistics industries, opening up employment opportunities for about 3,000 people both directly and indirectly.

Adani Group is investigating the potential of establishing a joint venture in the food and beverage industry called Adani Wilmar Group in Bihar. The group has also started preparations to start producing cement in Bihar. Projects aimed at manufacturing cement are expected to produce 10 million metric tons and create about 3,000 new jobs.

The company also intends to invest in the building of intelligent electricity meters. Mr. Gautam stated that five cities will install 28 lakh meters as part of this initiative.
