Samsung is getting closer to releasing the samsung galaxy tab a8 A9 in the US.

While the entry-level samsung galaxy tab a8 A9 only has LTE, Samsung’s Tab A9+ supports 5G and offers a variety of screen sizes and connectivity options. Both offer scalable storage choices.

Samsung has a thriving lineup of midrange tablets in addition to some of the best high-end tablets available right now. Thus, when the company announced the release of two Galaxy Tab A9 tablets in October, there was a good deal of excitement. But even though they were released in several nations, they didn’t make it to the US coast. Fortunately, things may soon change as Samsung US has removed a few tablet listings that it had previously posted to its online store.

The 11-inch Galaxy Tab A9+ looks to be priced at $270, but it’s unclear how much the standard model would cost or if Samsung will even release this less expensive 8.7-inch model in the US. The $256.49 price tag that is marked down appears to be a student discount, so not everyone will be able to take advantage of it. The two other colorways, Silver and Navy, might potentially arrive in the US even though the Graphite colorway is featured in this leaked listing.

Since the company hasn’t yet confirmed that the Galaxy Tab A9+ will launch in the US, it’s difficult to pinpoint an exact launch date. However, as 9to5Google correctly notes, the fact that the product page doesn’t lead to another Samsung page suggests that the listing will soon go live.

The tablet’s hardware specifications are well known because it is already available in many regions of the world. An 8.7-inch LCD screen is included with the less expensive Galaxy Tab A9 model, while an 11-inch screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz is included with the Tab A9+. The Unisoc chipset from the previous model has been replaced with the Snapdragon 695 SoC in both tablets.

Although cellular connectivity is offered by both models, only the Galaxy Tab A9+ supports 5G, with the entry-level model settling for LTE. The 64GB and 128GB storage options, each paired with 4GB or 8GB of RAM, will be available to customers. Additionally, if you choose the 64GB version, there is a microSD card slot available, which might be necessary.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ has a 7,040 mAh battery with a maximum charging speed of 15W, so recharging could take some time. Positively, the Tab A9+’s large battery capacity allows it to easily go a few days between charges. As long as you don’t mind paying a little bit extra, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE lineup is something you should definitely check out if you can’t wait for the Galaxy Tab A9 to launch domestically.
