In the GDCE paper leak case, the (cbi raids) twelve locations.

Thirteen individuals, comprising a railway worker and a head constable with the CRPF 51 Battalion in Chandigarh, have been named by the complainant for criminal misconduct, cheating, and conspiracy.

Numerous locations in Surat, Amreli, Navsari, Mumbai, and Buxar were the targets of the cbi raids.

In connection with a case involving a paper leak from the Western Railway Recruitment Board’s General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE), the cbi raids carried out raids at twelve sites in Gujarat, Mumbai, and Bihar.

Numerous locations in Surat, Amreli, Navsari, Mumbai, and Buxar were the targets of the cbi raids. An FIR based on a complaint lodged on December 30, 2023 by Naresh Lalwani, Senior Deputy General Manager, Western Railway Mumbai, states that some of the exam-taking students received question papers and answers via WhatsApp one day prior to the scheduled exams in exchange for a premium fee.

Additionally, it has been reported that some students were given hard copies of the exam questions and answers during an event held at a posh hotel in Surat at a cost. These students also used a phony web portal to access their results.

Thirteen individuals, comprising a railway worker and a head constable with the CRPF 51 Battalion in Chandigarh, have been named by the complainant for criminal misconduct, cheating, and conspiracy.

Some students have reportedly admitted to paying large sums of money to obtain their exam papers, answers, and results.

After conducting additional inquiries, the authorities discovered that the entire scheme involved Western Railway staff members, private citizens, and an organization that conducted exams.
