Form 3 is for residents or non-resident individuals with children aged five to under eighteen. This is for people who can prove their address in India.
For NRI children aged five to under eighteen who lack Indian address verification, Form 4 is required.
Form 5 is required for resident Indian children with proof of Indian address who are younger than five years old.
Form 6 is for children under five who are NRIs and have proof of address outside of India.
Form 7 is intended for foreign nationals who are residents. To enroll and update their Aadhaar card, they must be older than eighteen. They should possess an email address, a valid long-term Indian visa, an OCI card, and a foreign passport.
Form 8 is for foreign nationals who are residents and under the age of 18 to update their details and enroll.
When an individual reaches the age of 18, they can cancel their Aadhaar number using Form 9.
Validation of age
According to the updated regulations, UIDAI has mandated that if an individual’s age is disclosed or estimated, there must be supporting documentation. UIDAI stated that by doing this, the entire date of birth would be printed on the Aadhaar card, improving accuracy and authenticity.
According to UIDAI, one of two methods can be used for Aadhaar enrollment and updates: document verification or confirmation from the Head of Family (HoF). In the event that HoF is handling it, they must sign Form 1 and submit their Aadhaar details.
NRIs, on the other hand, are required to have an Aadhaar email address. If an NRI gives a mobile number that is not in India, no SMS or text message will be delivered to that number. The Form 1 guidelines make note of this.
